The Memphis and West TN AFL-CIO Labor Council is excited to host our Labor Day Community Celebration honoring workers. This year, we invite community partners and labor allies to sponsor the event. Across Tennessee, working people are fighting for a state that works for everyone. The Memphis Labor Council supports this effort through training, coalition-building, and political unity around shared issues—demanding good union jobs, fair education funding, better pay for educators, and corporate accountability. Despite corporate opposition, union members across West Tennessee remain resilient and committed to the fight.
