This is a conversation on how we can deliver relief for working people while making corporations pay their fair share. Multiple studies and reports have shown that more than 60% of corporations filing in TN are paying ZERO in the state's corporate income tax, while working people struggle to get by. In spite of that, the TN legislature has passed back to back multi-billion tax giveaways to big corporations, but refused to eliminate the tax on groceries.

Join us on September 24th to hear from legislators who are working to eliminate the state grocery tax while closing corporate tax loopholes. Members of local unions and churches will discuss the impact of paying grocery taxes on working people, while key services go underfunded.
